On the latest Silent Evil Podcast, Cameron and Spencer are talking all about the indie survival horror video game, Conscript from 2024. With a story backdrop of World War 1 in the trenches. Mixing the gameplay of Resident Evil and the original top-down view, Metal Gear games. Throw in just a taste of Silent Hill too. Conscript offers an experience both classic and totally fresh all at the same time. It's also quite the endeavor for an indie title of generally just one main creator. Both in quality and length too. Though this journey totally delivers all the way through. We go through the whole game in a podcast review.
